During the application deployments to Weblogic, weblogic creates directories & files that start with “.” which means hidden, they take lot of disk space and are not needed once the deployment is finished.

So find them all and delete.

These will be generally in ./servers/AdminServer/tmp/ (Unless you have set a different tmp dir via “-Djava.io.tmpdir= <path>”)

[oracle@machine1 AdminServer]$ du -sh ./*
196K    ./cache
218M    ./data
285M    ./logs
8.0K    ./security
3.4G    ./tmp
1.6G    ./upload
[oracle@machine1 AdminServer]$ find . -name .appmergegen* | xargs rm -rf
[oracle@machine1 AdminServer]$ du -sh ./*
196K    ./cache
218M    ./data
286M    ./logs
8.0K    ./security
127M    ./tmp
1.6G    ./upload
[oracle@machine1 AdminServer]$
